Julia joined Savely Healthcare Architects in 2022. Julia is a licensed architect whose career has been focused primarily on healthcare environments throughout the west coast. With a Masters in Public Health and Architecture, she provides a broad perspective and problem-solving ability in planning and design to positively affect healthcare environments for medical staff efficiency and positive patient outcomes.
TRAVEL: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL DESTINATION?
My favorite place to visit is Greece. I love the islands, especially from on board a small sailboat, when you can swim off the back of the boat, enjoy sun on the front deck and relax under the shade canopy – going to new off-the-beaten-track places, to sit in the tavernas, and experience the local scenes.
HOMETOWN: WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and was shaped by the cultural institutions there – Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland Playhouse, Cleveland Symphony, etc. as well as experienced the grit and commercialism of the congested historic downtown and industrial flats as well as the beautiful wooded parks, lakeshore beaches, and quaint mid-western small towns.
